​​K passed but NOT by as big of a percentage that they hoped for, especially with the huge sums of money spent on the Yes on K campaign.  The Westside spoke & 64%+ voted NO on K! It should not have passed & it will be NOT be good for ALL, only a small segment of the community will benefit from this closure.  If closed:

• Great Highway (GH) will be closed 7 days a week

• You will be stuck in gridlock/back-ups like this everyday

• This will create worse gridlock/back-ups, longer commute times, unsafe conditions, an increase in stress, road rage & toxins into the environment 

• This does & will effect ALL our Neighborhood streets

• Will make Sunset & 19th even worse & unacceptable as a means to get in/out or around the City

• It is a land grab created by developers, Sup. Joel Engardio, Senator Scott Wiener & with the help of The Bike Coalition
